2. How does a telehealth appointment work?

Once you have booked your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your secure telehealth meeting. All you have to do is click on the link at the time of your appointment and you will be taken directly to a virtual waiting room, where I will join you for our online consultation.

You can join from either your phone or laptop; however it is important that you are in a safe and comfortable place where you will not be interrupted or disturbed when you join the consultation.

3. What's involved in an inital appointment?

As the naturopathic philosophy aims to treat the cause rather than simply addressing the symptoms, your initial appointment is an information gathering session where you will be asked to provide a detailed medical history, and I will work through all of your main concerns in order to develop a comprehensive, wholistic understanding of what is going for you. For online appointments, as we cannot conduct physical examinations in person, you may also be asked to send in further information depending on your key concerns.

Allow for up to 90 minutes for your initial appointment. You will then need to book in a  30 minute follow up appointment, during which time I will present you with a written report summarising your health goals, clinical findings and outlining your treatment plan. Depending on your health needs and goals, the report may also include dietary and lifestyle recommendations as appropriate.

Further follow up appointments will be booked as per your treatment plan.

4. What if I need to get tests done?

This is not a problem. We can either arrange for tests to be completed directly through Clinical Labs pathology clinics, or  ordered online through NutriPath. Alternatively, you may be more comfortable going through your GP.

5. How do I get any products, herbs or supplements that you have prescribed for me?

It is important to know that the cost of your appointment does not include any prescribed remedies or supplements, and these are ordered through online dispensaries and prescribing portals. Depending on what might be required for you and which prescribing portal will provide your prescription, payment can either be made at the time of the appointment or directly through the prescribing portal once your prescription is ready for you.

6. What qualifications do you have?

I have a Bachelor Degree in Naturopathy, from the Southern School of Natural Therapies, and am fully registered with the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).

I have a Masters Level in Reiki.
